AMM comments … on raising the casino’s levy for the IRs

AMM does not see a point in raising the levy to the casinos and out of all the comments he read, AMM agrees with Tony Compton’s comment, a lecturer for casino management at Boston Business School.

Entertainment here in Singapore is already limited, raising the levy to prevent more people from going into the casino seems like mummy dearest (read: nanny state) is telling us how and what to spend money on.

AMM has just one thing to say… JUST LET US SPEND OUR MONEY THE WAY WE WANT TO!

However, AMM notes and thinks that we might see a variable levy, which will be determined on “peak” and “lull” periods, and it might take probably another year or so for more data to be collected before it is implemented.
